Past/Present/Future – celebrating writing & Slough

This winter marks 175 years since the publishing of ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens and 100 years since World War One Armistice

Join us from 4pm – 7pm on Saturday 1st December at the beautiful heritage site of The Mere, Upton Court, Slough SL1 2DQ for creative community celebrations in the private grounds of Dickens’ publishers The Bentley’s

 Discover more about our town’s hidden history and share your hopes for the future for a National Peace Archive

Experience performances by local artists, alongside renowned outdoor arts company Emergency Exit ArtsPaper Peace’ – a 14 foot high illuminated poem as part of a national tour

+ take part in FREE art & cultural activity across Slough throughout November & December to respond to & reflect on both anniversaries and the themes of redemption, forgiveness, community & what makes us truly rich…

In addition to the Festival programme below, you can take part in our Reflect With Us exhibition at HOME on the High Street (Observatory Shopping Centre) open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 6pm
