Consultation about creative learning
Specialists on the team can support self-evaluation and action planning about creativity and learning, helping head teachers and other school leaders to explore vision and think about how change might be implemented in culture and practice.
We also support creative and cultural organisations/practitioners in developing their thinking in relation to creative learning, young people and partnership working.
Leadership support and professional learning
Experienced Creative Junction leaders can support individuals and teams in the creative and learning sectors in the form of:
- mentoring and coaching for individuals and teams
- facilitation of Action Learning* sets (peer learning) for all kinds of leaders
- professional learning programmes, designed around the creative development interests of the participants
- school INSET and CPD programmes on creativity, creative learning and teaching and curriculum innovation
- supporting young people’s creative leadership
We believe in the development of expertise on the ground through collaborative learning, often across sectors.
Development of new ideas
We are keen to support innovation and help others to develop great ideas in the field of creative learning. We are delighted to explore ideas, collaborations and possibilities. We can to help with:
- project management and brokering of partnerships; supporting the recruitment of partners and the development of partnership projects
- sharing practice in evaluation, research and dissemination
- partnership support in seeking funding
* In action learning, small groups of leaders meet to examine their work situations, with a view to solving problems and catalysing change. In a supportive and confidential environment, they can raise difficult questions, discuss sensitive issues, and share their learning. Patty Cohen is a trained action learning facilitator and has been a member of a set for six years.
