Media Box
Creative Junction was successful in being awarded a Mediabox grant, to work with four groups of disadvantaged young people in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. We are worked in partnership with four regional organisations to reach young carers in Bracknell, young people living in sheltered accommodation or those at risk of being homeless in Oxford, a pupil referral unit in Wycombe and young asylum seekers in care in Milton Keynes. These four groups of young people worked with their chosen practitioner over 10 weeks, to produce a film, a radio broadcast, a print or a mixed media piece around a theme or issue important to them. 
They formed production crews to cover all aspects of production and project managers to look at team roles, scheduling, budgeting, compliance and evaluation. They also organised a showcase in their region which will exhibited the pieces made from all four regions and considered the audience and distribution of their own piece.
