Consortia working

We regularly form, facilitate and work in cross sector partnerships and consortia, connecting diverse people and ideas.

We offer thoughtful and knowledgeable facilitation, professional development and support to a wide range of consortia, partnerships and networks. This can be through Open Space facilitation, Action Learning Sets, chairing or active membership of groups, committees and forums.

Creative People and Places (CPP) – We are part of the CPP Slough consortium, with a specific active focus on residents accessing arts in our home town. Following a competitive process, Arts Council England awarded Slough over £600 thousand for residents to try different and diverse arts-led experiences and become familiar with broader local, national and international cultural choices.

Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) – We are a member of the Slough CEP, responding to Arts Council England’s Cultural Education Challenge. Slough’s Cultural Education Partnership is a consortium of cultural, health, children’s service and education organisations. Our aim is to create an evidence-based strategy, supported by funding, that will shape the future of arts and cultural provision for children and young people in Slough, increasing access, ensuring high quality and supporting their health, social and economic needs.

Arts Award Leadership Network – As a part of this network we support arts, cultural, heritage and learning organisations across the South East with engagement with Arts Award and excellent practice.

In the past we have been a member of Slough’s Business Support Planning Group chaired by Slough Borough Council Economic Development team working with Berkshire Growth Hub and the Berkshire Cultural Network, made up of the arts officers for the six unitary authorities across Berkshire.

Well done for pulling this together… the programme has been very positive – thanks to your ability to ‘pull a rabbit out of a hat’ and organise us all. . . . There is a strong network legacy.” Cultural Development Officer, West Berkshire Council
