Curve Creates

Curve Creates

Free arts activities & Arts Award

Join us at Slough Museum (in Slough Library) every Wednesday during term time 4.30pm – 6pm for art, craft, design and creative writing

Gain new arts skills, get qualifications, make your CV and statement stand out from the crowd – or just pop along for a fun, free and friendly place to be on cold winter evenings…

Activities are different each week – past activities have included fashion design, paper sculpture, lino printmaking, graphic novels with Comic Life software, digital design with Photoshop.

There will also be the opportunity for visits to local galleries and exhibitions – transport and tickets paid for as part of the investment from Artswork, the South East Bridge.

The Curve is Slough’s new library and cultural centre. It will be a meeting space, a place to learn and be creative, to read, to watch, to experience and enjoy.

Leading up to the opening in Spring 2016, Curve Creates is a programme of FREE activities that will enable young people to experience a range of art forms and work towards Arts Award, a national qualification that inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents.
