St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School & Kate Hince

St Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School in Slough have been working with artist Kate Hince on a project to create a 2D response to the ‘world of work’ theme. Three classes of Yr 10 Art students have been working collaboratively on the project to explore the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, resulting in a triptych reflecting their view of the workforce. They have incorporated figures in the appropriate working environment and utilised media relevant to each category. Their work has also examined technological advances in industry whilst exploring the range of emotions encountered through the stresses and strains of an ever changing working environment.
