What we do

Since 2002 we have led and supported creative work with and for children, young people, families and communities. We have developed an extensive portfolio and an excellent reputation and track record including high profile and large scale event, project and programme design and delivery.

Creative Junction has a geographical focus on our home town of Slough and our immediate neighbours: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and London; but we also work regionally, nationally and internationally.

Our team work hard to work magic as event and project managers: to brief, to budget, to deadlines.

We have extensive creative producer experience in designing and delivering events, festivals and arts projects and will ensure the effective planning, delivery, review and reflection of your activity.

Our excellent organisational skills are demonstrated through multiple small, medium and large scale creative projects and programmes, across art forms and with and for a wide range of partners and clients.

We are a team of innovators, full of creative suggestions and solutions. We have developed an excellent and extensive portfolio of work created from the grain of an idea into a fully fledged, effective and exciting reality. We specialise in place-based art work and site-specific commissions, festivals and events.

We have the proven ability and confidence to manage complex logistics and rigorous health and safety procedures, including over sustained periods with thousands of members of the public.

We are First Aid trained by the Red Cross and hold current DBS checks and public liability insurance.

Development & connections

We offer thoughtful and knowledgeable facilitation, professional development and support to a wide range of consortia, partnerships and networks. This can be through Open Space facilitation, Action Learning Sets, chairing or active membership of groups, committees and forums.

Creative Junction design and deliver professional development and training and offer coaching and mentoring for creative industry and arts professionals, social entrepreneurs and start ups.

Connecting young people to sector opportunities: We actively seek creative industry and social enterprise opportunities for young people across all of our activity, this has included as paid dance assistants, event planners, workshop facilitators and stewards for high profile events.

We have hosted over 150 work experience placements since 2002. We regularly host post graduates for the Reading University Further Development Placement and deliver seminars and bespoke sessions for creative industry and social enterprise students from Brunel University and The Henley Business School.

We have collaborated with arts and culture organisations and businesses for over 50 young people to ‘take over’ a job role as part of annual National Takeover Day championed by the Children’s Commissioner.
