A Hip Hop night organised by young people from Realise! based at Readipop happened earlier this month at PlugnPlay studios in Reading and it was a great night out for all involved. Chucks and Borjad from the group ran the night featuring loads of local acts and some performances from the group themselves – who also helped make the night such a success!
Acts performing on the night included DJ’s Dylan Yates and Dan Hughes. Freestyling and an improvised jam impressed the crowd and James Rose from Our View was on hand to film all the action.
So far the Realise! group based at Readipop have organised two great live music nights, all in the lead up to the Caversham Festival which will be happening over the 6th & 7th of July.
The Festival It’s going to be a great weekend full of events and if you missed catching the Realise! gigs then be sure to head down to the other Festival in Reading where they will be perfoming again. After hearing some of the tracks recorded by Chucks and Borjad we can definitely reccomend it! The whole group have been working extra hard to organise the music nights and Caversham Festival will be a great way for them to get onto a bigger stage and show everyone what they’ve got.
