Working with Oxfordshire Family Mediation

Creative Junction and Oxford Family Mediation are working to generate, through collaboration, new ideas that support creative teaching, learning and partnership working with creative partners and families in Oxfordshire.

OFM is the only organisation in Oxfordshire offering a dedicated service to separating families and individuals coming to terms with family breakdown.  Their mediation service is a step-by-step process with a trained mediator which helps former partners identify and agree what works best for them and their children after separation.

Aims of the programme:

  • to build and develop partnerships that encourage exploration, discovery and creativity
  • to develop innovative activities that widen choice for families
  • to allow children and young people and their parents and carers to spend quality time together
  • to allow young people and parents/carers to reflect on what support they might benefit from and discuss support opportunities available
  • to develop and support a cohort of creative professionals that can understand and engage with vulnerable families on separation and divorce issues
