Radstock Primary School in Earley, Wokingham is leading on a Network Schools Programme, ‘You Present’ with three other primary schools from the Earley Cluster, Hawkedon, Hillside and Whiteknights. The Network aims to foster collaboration between learners within and between schools, leading to the development of new media presentation skills that involve all learners in the learning process.
The Network will work in partnership with creative professionals to enable a group of pupils and teachers from each school to learn new skills in areas such as digital photography and film and to improve their use of on-line presentation tools such as Prezi and Voicethread. Acting as ‘Learning Mentors’ this group of pupils and teachers will then work with others both within and beyond their school to share and sustain the learning and through the schools’ Online Learning Platform, at Wokingham Learning Platform Lead meetings and through a Teachmeet and Learnmeet during the summer term 2012. A talk has also been arranged at BETT in January 2011.
