Alison Leverett-Morris

Alison is part of Creative Junction’s extended team, working as Programme Lead (for Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes) on the Network Schools Programme.

Alison has a passion for the arts as a vehicle for positive social change. After graduating in Fine Art and Aesthetics (Cardiff University, 1994) she worked as an artist in the community, primarily with young people at risk, before moving into the voluntary sector with organizations including NACRO and Women’s Aid. As Director of ITHACA (2000-07), Alison developed a reputation for innovative work in the fields of arts and older people, intergenerational practice, disability arts and arts and mental health. In 2007 Alison set up ALM Associates, a socially engaged consultancy offering services for public, voluntary, arts and cultural sector clients. She was one of 24 women nationally, selected for the UK’s first MA in Cultural Leadership at City University, London (2008). She is a Trustee for the LankellyChase Foundation, a national grant making charity, and on the Artistic Advisory Board of Pegasus Theatre, Oxford.

ALM Associates offers services including visioning, facilitation (Board and team strategic planning), action learning, mentoring, evaluation (programme and organisational) and project design, fundraising and development.

Developing cross sector partnerships to promote engagement and participation is central to Alison’s approach. Alison finds herself working in a diverse range of settings – ranging from Diamond Light Source, the UK’s cutting edge science facility, to museums and galleries, theatres, residential care homes, schools, housing associations and other community settings.
