My relationship with CJ began through working as a Creative Practitioner and Creative Agent on the Creative Partnerships Programme.
I am very pleased to be taking this relationship further as an Associate, as CJ moves forward into the new social/cultural/educational territory that it finds itself in.
I am a writer and photographer. I have worked freelance for over a dozen years during which time I have received a number of awards, and undertaken various residencies and commissions.
The title poem of my first full-length poetry collection ‘peeled’ received a Special Commendation in 2004/5 Forward Prize for Poetry.
I moved south to live in London from 2006-2011, and recently I moved to East Sussex with my young family.
As is always the case with a freelance life, I have a rich and varied workload.
This currently includes a year-long Artist’s Residency in rural Hertfordshire, work in various educational settings, and ongoing work in the education and business sectors as a “Creative Consultant” with the MAP Consortium.
