Janine Charles is an artist, social entrepeneur and consultant (trading as Artmummy) working in a range of different settings, from local authorities, to arts organisations, education and community contexts. She has mentored individual artists, is a successful fundraiser, has established new organisations, teaches in Higher Education and is increasingly involved in social enterprise and community development. She is a trustee of Fusion in East Oxford (participatory arts organisation and arts centre), founded the artist network Artist’s Soup and is a founder member of the Cogges Community Enterprise group who are currently working with Oxfordshire County Council to form a new Trust to run Cogges Manor Farm.
She is passionate about food, sustainable living and the natural world.
