Anna Jones

Anna is one of the Directors and founders of Creative Junction. Anna believes in the power of art to enable us to understand what it is to be human; to empathise, be curious and appreciate each other and the world around us. She is also a realist and pragmatist with extensive project and event management experience in the arts, cultural and learning sectors. Over the last twenty years Anna has worked in partnership with a wide range of people and organisations to create, deliver and reflect on a diverse range of productions, programmes, events and professional development opportunities. Over the last ten years, her work has focused on young people’s engagement with arts and cultural practice to affect change. She has recently become a Social Enterprise Qualification trainer to continue to support young people to make positive change; for themselves, society and the environment. http://seq.realideas.org/

Anna is Chair of the Board for Rifco Arts, a South Asian-led theatre company based at Watford Palace Theatre producing vibrant, accessible, high quality theatre for national touring. This has been through a significant time in the organisation’s development including their successful National Portfolio Organisation status from Arts Council England East. www.rifcoarts.com

Anna has strategic and operational experience in theatre, including seven years in production at the National Theatre in London. She has been a Theatre Advisor for Arts Council England, London and a board member for Streets Alive Theatre, a young person’s homeless theatre company. Anna has directed and produced theatre that has been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Glastonbury Festival.
