Jeannette Brookes
Following a successful 16 year career in contemporary dance, Jeannette Brooks now has an overlapping additional 14 years of arts management experience in community, education and theatre/venue settings.
Since 1997 Jeannette has worked for and with regional arts development organisations in positions of responsibility and project directorship in London and across the South East region. She has gained experience in small and large scale outreach programme planning and policy forming, fund raising, project co-ordination, budget management, team building and partnership development. She has worked with organisations such as Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Hampshire Dance Trust, Hextable Dance and Wycombe District Council and with partners from amongst theatres, festivals, arts centres, community and youth services.
A mum of two young children, Jeannette is also resident ‘walker’ to her French speaking dogs Bouba ‘le super chien’, and Kali-Mini!
